FARA Annual Meeting 2006

Assisting the New Orleans community

in preparation for the 2006 FARA Fall Forum in New Orleans, the FARA Executive Committee solicited donations from FARA members to assist with the clean-up efforts from Hurricane Katrina.

At right, FARA president Dennis Leighton presents a check for $4000 to New Orleans City Park Director of Development John Hopper to assist with the rebuilding of the park, which was under as much as eight feet of water in the aftermath of the hurricane.
