The 2006 FARA Fall Forum was held in New Orleans November 15-18, 2006. Myles Brand, president of the NCAA (at right), was a featured speaker at the event.

While in New Orleans, the FARA Executive Committee presented a check for $4000 to New Orleans City Park Director of Development John Hopper to assist with the rebuilding of the park, which was under as much as eight feet of water in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
